Sunday Service 8:45am
Saint James Episcopal ChurcAh is a faithful member of the Diocese of New Hampshire and the Lakes Region Convocation of Episcopal Churches.
We were founded in 1862 and since then our doors have been open to all who seek the love, grace and forgiveness of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
If you are seeking a Christian community that loves God, is proud of the Episcopal Church and its prophetic role in the worldwide Anglican Communion, and that seeks to put prayers to work in the way its members live realistically in a broken world, then please feel free to visit us any time.
We sold our church building on 876 N Main Street to the Boys and Girls Club of the Lakes Region as they are able to reach out to children and youth in the community better than we can. Our services are held at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on 2238 Parade Road, Laconia.
We share expenses allowing both churches to give more to the community.
Lisa Marks, the daughter of Ginny and Bill Hammond, is running her 17th consecutive year in the Boston Marathon as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge, "in hope that someday there will be a cancer cure." She has so far raised over $20,000.00, for the this year, for cancer research. Please support her online http://www.runDFMC.org/2016/lisam or send a check to St.James to pass on.
